Our guarantee is designed with one primary focus: Customer Satisfaction. The Uno Sewing after-sales service policy is covered and underwritten by all our branded machinery and the Uno Sewing standard guarantees and warranties. We highly recommend that our customers engage in our valuable training sessions prior to using our products.
Key Features of Our Warranty:

Industrial Sewing Machines:
Coverage: 6-month guarantee on defects of the main body casting, all main drive mechanisms, and the lubrication system.

Allied Equipment:
Coverage: 6-month guarantee on defects of the main body casting, all main drives, and the functionality system.

Spare Parts:
Coverage: 7-day optional return guarantee on defects of the main body casting, all main assembly, and functionality, except for needles, lubricants, and electronic components which are not exchangeable when removed from original packaging.

Labour:
Coverage: 7-day advisory guarantee on requested workmanship and functionality, excluding operational and operator error.
Claiming Your Guarantee:

Documentation: The original purchase invoice must accompany the claim, and the goods should be in their original packaging.

Submission: All guarantee claims must be delivered to our head office in Johannesburg. We are not liable for the transport of goods to and from our service point, except in the case of multi-head embroidery machines, where travel is chargeable.

Exclusions: The standard guarantee excludes call-outs, inspection fees, periodic servicing, and damaged spare parts.

Turnaround Time: While service times may vary based on our workload, we aim to address all claims within 72 hours of receipt.
Limitations of the Warranty:

High Mortality Sewing Parts: Such as blades, needle plates & clamps, loopers, etc.

Operational Performance: Stitch performances and material/fabric type-related settings and requirements.

Customer Responsibility: Uno Sewing does not accept responsibility for loss of income and productivity due to breakdowns.
Important Notes:

Engagement Date: The guarantee engagement date is as set out on the original purchase date on the official company tax invoice. Periods of dormancy prior to product or service use are not entertained.

Third-Party Sales: Sales and purchases through third parties disallow the company’s liability to honor any other guarantees that may be implied on our behalf.

Preventive Maintenance: We emphasize preventive maintenance as crucial for asset care, which should be carried out per the manufacturer's schedule. Our skilled service technicians will provide corrective suggestions and recommendations as needed.

Exclusions: Negligence, malicious damage, and acts of God are not covered under the warranty. Attempts at self-repair and lack of maintenance will void the warranty.
